Oppo will challenge Vivo’s Nex with an all-screen design next week. The Chinese smartphone maker owned by BBK Electronics, which also happens to be the parent of Vivo, has put out a new teaser that rivals the design of Vivo Nex series launched yesterday.’
Vivo Nex is the first smartphone to surpass the challenge of offering an edge-to-edge display design without a notch. The smartphone is equipped with a massive 6.59-inch display that covers almost entire front of the device and has a screen-to-body ratio of massive 91 percent. Now, Vivo’s sibling Oppo might rival that same design with a true bezel-less smartphone when it launches the Find X in Paris next week.
Oppo’s teaser claims that Find X will deliver a comprehensive full screen experience. Interestingly, the teaser seems to represent that Oppo Find X will not feature any kind of bezel and will not even have a small chin seen on the Vivo Nex. While Vivo Nex offers a pop-up selfie camera, the Oppo Find X might switch to a more conventional design with a notched OLED display and dual curved edges similar to that of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy smartphone.
Like the Vivo Nex, all the sensors could be embedded under the display and the display itself transmits the sound. In terms of specifications, the Oppo Find X is expected to feature a 6.4-inch display and will be equipped with 8GB of RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. The smartphone, like Vivo NEX S, could be offered with 128GB or 256GB internal storage. One of the key feature could be the 5x zoom, which uses a periscope-style imaging system to achieve a lossless zoom.

A TENAA listing indicates that Oppo Find X will adopt the in-display fingerprint sensor similar to Vivo Nex and support for 5G connectivity. The Find X will be officially unveiled at The Louvre in Paris, France on June 19. The smartphone will showcase Oppo as a technology innovator in the overcrowded market place.
